The vacuum refrigerated fresh-keeping machine jointly developed by the Agricultural Products Processing Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences and Shanghai Shanrushui Fresh keeping Technology Co., Ltd. was unveiled in Xintong, Gaozhou, Maoming City on May 26, 2023. Since May 30, 2023, more than 70 boxes of litchi and wampee have been kept fresh and stored. On June 7, the hypobaric fresh-keeping warehouse was opened for the first time. After nearly nine days of hypobaric storage, litchi and wampee are as fresh as ever. Leaders of the local government and relevant departments, representatives of local enterprises and Agricultural cooperative, and friends from the news media witnessed and tasted on the spot. The taste was almost the same as that just picked from the trees, and the fresh-keeping test achieved periodic results. We will continue to observe the preservation status for 20, 30, or more days in the future. Hypobaric preservation and Gree's special preservation of litchi released on June 3 belong to different Technology roadmap. Hypobaric preservation is a new generation of preservation technology recognized in the industry, and we look forward to greater achievements in the application of hypobaric preservation in the production area!
